Dave Fischer - Obituary

harles David Fischer, “Dave”, 35, a resident of Lusby, MD for eight years and previously of Edgewater, MD, died of natural causes on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. Born on September 24, 1985 in Annapolis, MD to Charles E. Fischer and Carolyn D. Fant King, Dave graduated high school and was a diesel mechanic at the Pax River Naval Air Station for many years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, riding motorcycles, karate, arm wrestling and his Pit Bull, Ray. In addition to his parents, Dave is survived by his siblings, Charles E. Fischer, Jr. of Flint, MI, Larry King of Severn, MD, Nicole Guthrie of Oakland, MD and Elizabeth Fischer of Mt. Airy, MD and his fiancé, Marilyn Retzler. Friends are invited to celebrate Dave's life on Monday, May 24 from 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 25 at 12 noon. Interment following the funeral service will be private. Everyone is encouraged to dress casually because that is what Dave would have wanted. Condolences may be made by using the tab on this page.
