David P. Buck - Obituary

avid "Dave" Patrick Buck, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Annapolis, MD with his family by his side. Born on March 17, 1940 in Rossville, GA to the late Harold Payne and Nellie Williams Buck, Dave served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years as a JAG Attorney and attained the rank of Lt. Colonel. He also worked as a U.S. Postal Service attorney for many years and practiced estate planning in Annapolis. Dave was an avid history buff and a talented story teller who was loved by many, missed by all and was a true southern gentleman. He was the beloved husband of Nancy D. Buck; devoted father of David (Joanne) Buck and Teresa (Matthew) McQuide; stepfather of Deborah Davis Korb and Darrin L. (Whitney) Davis; loving grandfather of Ryan, Alyssa and Matthew Buck, Joshua McQuide, Kassidy K. Bowman, Kristopher (Topper) Korb, Delaney and Sydney Davis; brother of Herbert and Harold Buck, Marilyn Buck Roberts, Marge B. Hicks and Regina Buck Edgeman. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 18 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD. Interment with full military honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
