David Raymond Farrell - Obituary

avid “Buddy” “Buck” Raymond Farrell, Sr., 87, of Annapolis, Maryland and previously of West Virginia passed away on January 21, 2024 in Edgewater. Born on December 31, 1936 in Bowie to the late James B. Farrell and Sarah E. Taylor Farrell, David enjoyed his career as a construction worker. David was an animal lover, and raised several exotic birds. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his children, David R. Farrell, Jr. and Thelma Balinko and siblings, James, Elizabeth, and Dorthy. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Voisinet of Annapolis; siblings, John Farrell of Edgewater, Virginia Cassady of Florida, Anne Wells of Annapolis, Bernice Carr of Davidsonville, and Betty Pearson of Edgewater; grandchildren, Thomas and Shannon Voisinet and Paul and Sarah Ricci; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to celebrate David's life on Thursday, January 25 from 4 to 7 pm at Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where a service will be held on Friday, January 26 at 10:30 am.
