David Kroner - Obituary

avid A. Kroner Sr., 59, a resident of Severna Park for 27 years, died of a heart attack Sept. 12 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Mr. Kroner was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Baltimore, and received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Florida. He was a quality engineer for most of his life. Mr. Kroner was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park. He enjoyed Ocean City, horse racing, schaunzers and taking his two granddaughters to fairs and movies. Also surviving are his wife, Peggy A. Kroner, whom he married Dec. 11, 1970; one son, David A. Kroner Jr. of New Britain, Conn.; three daughters, Kimberly Krauss of Catonsville and Colleen and Ann Marie Kroner, both of Severna Park; and three brothers, Donald, Daryl and Doug Kroner, all of Catonsville. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment private.
