David Edmon Patterson - Obituary

avid Edmon "Ed" Patterson, 92, a resident of Annapolis, MD for ten years and previously of Germantown, MD, died on Thursday, September 27 at his home in the Ginger Cove Community in Annapolis, MD. Born on May 31, 1926 in Paterson, NJ to the late David and Mary Patterson, Ed served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. For most of his working life, Ed was an engineer with the Atomic Energy Commission (DOE). He enjoyed spending time with his family, sailing, music, reading and volunteering at Ginger Cove. Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Patterson. He is survived by his children, Wayne E. (Anne) Patterson of Annapolis, MD, Gerald A. (Diane) Patterson of Fairfax, VA, Debra P. Darcey of St. Petersburg, FL and Susan L. Patterson of Alexandria, VA and his grandchildren, Erik Darcey, Mark, Justin (Cindy), Claire and Emily Patterson.
