ied on Sunday, July 21, 2013, the beloved husband of Margie L. Simms; father of Richard C., Paul W. Simms and Jewell Ann Mothershed; brother of Doris Staples. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to David's Life Celebration on Sunday, July 28 from 2 to 4pm at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD where services will be held on Monday, July 29th at 11:00am. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to First Baptist Church of Camp Springs, 6936 Allentown Rd., Temple Hills, MD 20748.
