avid Randall Williams was born to Donald David Williams and Devera Daugherty Williams in Washington, DC on July 9, 1960. David attended Ballou Senior High School in Washington, D.C. and earned his GED in 1979. He was a talented artist who attended art school and was awarded a prize for one of his drawings. David was an avid automobile enthusiast and would spend hours perusing his favorite automobile magazines. His love of automobiles led him to submit several patents for an automotive safety device, one of which was approved by the Patent and Trademark Commission. In the spring of 1999 David reconnected with his lifelong friend Alfred Jones who became his partner. Al has a love of antiques in which David also grew to appreciate. They would spend their days at estate sales and flea markets looking for items to sell in a business they shared. David was very family oriented and loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. He was very proud of their accomplishments as they grew into adulthood. Because he lived in Baltimore for several years he spent lots of time on the phone with his sisters. He cherished home, loved cooking and spent time perfecting his favorite recipes and trying new ones. You could always count on David for perfect pancakes and macaroni and cheese to die for.
