awn Renee Dudley, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 5, 2026. Born in Annapolis Maryland on February 25, 1966, Dawn was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland. “Gammy” as she was known to her grandchildren, loved doing crossword puzzles, taking long walks with her dog, and mostly, cherishing her time with her mother, sons, grandchildren, and her family. Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Zindorf. She is survived by her mother, Judy Evans, her stepmother, Elizabeth Zindorf, her sisters Trinda Bees, Karen Zindorf, Diane Crosby and Melissa Spyralatos, brothers Brian O’Leary and Timmy O’Leary, sons John Dudley (Kaitlyn) and Justin Dudley (Laura) and her grandchildren: Kierstin Vitkauskas, Mason Dudley and Blake Dudley. Dawn will always be remembered for her kindness and the smile she always had on her face. Dawn had faced incredible obstacles after a serious car accident in 1991, but with her unwavering commitment and unshakable determination she overcame incredible obstacles. Doctors had advised her family that it was unlikely that Dawn would ever walk or talk again, but Dawn proved them all wrong and with resilience, courage and hard work, she reclaimed her life and built a future filled with passion, purpose and love. She lived a life of spiritual devotion to God and always believed she could be a mother again to her sons, John and Justin. Even in death, Dawn continues to give to others in need in the selfless act of donating her organs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn’s name to the University of Maryland Medical System Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program.
