Deborah Fedorkowicz - Obituary

eborah "Debbie" Lee Fedorkowicz, 59, of Eastport died peacefully at her home on August 14, 2012. Born July 24, 1953 in Warner Robins, GA, she graduated from Annapolis High School, then from Anne Arundel County Community College with a degree in Nursing. Debbie was employed at Prince George's Hospital Center, Calvert Memorial Hospital, Crownsville Hospital Center, and at the MVA Medical Advisory Board. She was an avid reader and antique collector and she loved raising cats. She was predeceased by her father, John Leon Fedorkowicz. Deborah is survived by her mother, Joan Tucker Fedorkowicz; three brothers, Joseph J. (Anna) Fedorkowicz of Laurel, Carl G. (Bobbye) Fedorkowicz of Lusby and Eric L. Fedorkowicz of Annapolis; one sister, Mary Alice (Steve) Hutchins of Arnold; also survived by many nieces, nephews and a grandniece and two grandnephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 21 at 11am at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, Maryland. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County ,P.O. Box 3471, Annapolis, MD 21403.
