D

elmo F. Trilli, a 35-year resident of Heritage Harbor in Annapolis and formerly of District Heights, passed away after a 103-year journey on March 11, 2024, in Annapolis. Dell, as he was known, was born on December 14, 1920, in Washington, DC. Dell graduated from Eastern High School and began to study printing when World War II intervened. He enlisted in the Navy and served as a Radio Man, 1st Class in the Pacific. During the war, he met the love of his life, Jean. They were married in 1946. Dell worked for several printing companies and the GPO before going into business for himself with Valley Typesetting in 1969. Upon retirement, he and Jean traveled the world and enjoyed 69 years of marriage. Dell was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. Dell is survived by his daughters, Susan (Mark) Goodwin and Adrienne (Tom) Myers and his son, Andrew (Ruth) Trilli; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and three siblings. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, March 20, at 10:30 a.m. AT St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD.
