Delonta L. Hill - Obituary

elonta Lewis Hill “Lonta”, age 23 and a resident of Brooklyn Park, passed away unexpectedly in Glen Burnie on March 22, 2022. He was born in Baltimore on August 8, 1998 and attended Edgewater Elementary School and Central Middle School before graduating from North County High School. He worked at Port Tack Liquors, Food Lion and recently at BJ’s as a Meat apprentice. Lonta was a member of the Chesapeake Christian Fellowship Youth, the South River Youth Association where he played soccer, baseball, and basketball, and the North County Knights. He loved to play basketball, go fishing, ride dirt bikes, play video games and teach his son to do all of those things. He is survived by his parents, Jerric Leo and Kathy Lewis Hill; his fiancée, Kayla Bryanne Smith; his children, Daemon King Lewis Hill and Kayleigh Lynn Lewis Hill, both of Glen Burnie; his siblings, Michael Kennedy of Annapolis, Markell Curtis of Jessup and Chelsea Morgan of Annapolis; his grandfathers, Jerry L. Hill, Sr. and David A. Lewis; his grandmothers, Charlene Lilith Dine and Lillian Dolores Hill; his aunts, Karen L. Diggs and Stephanie Reynolds Dine; his uncles, Jason Harmon Dine and Jerry Leon Hill; close friends Dylan George, Mason Bennett and Joe Joe Fanning, and many other family and friends. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, March 30 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31 at 10 AM.
