ennis Glynn Hoyle, Jr., 74, of Harlem, Georgia, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Clinton, Maryland.
Dennis Glynn Hoyle Jr. was born on October 5, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, to Dennis Glynn Hoyle and Florence Mary Cutlip. He was the oldest of eight children, a role he carried with strength, humor, and care throughout his life.
On August 14, 1975, he married Debra K. Street, and together they built a loving family, raising five children: Heather, Rosemary, Daniel, Rebecca, and Shelby. Dennis served honorably in the United States Air Force as a civil engineer, dedicating 20 years of service before retiring.
Dennis found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life: time with his family, being outdoors, coaching youth sports, and working with church youth programs. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he lived a life defined by quiet service, generosity, and faith. Those who knew him will remember his willingness to help others, his steady presence, and his enduring sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger brother, Don; and his sister, Rosemary.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his children, Heather, Rosemary, Daniel, Rebecca, and Shelby; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings David, Dale, Yvonne, Patricia, and Melitta; along with many extended family members and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 4:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5300 Auth Road, Camp Springs, MD, 20746.
