Dennis Neilson Weiss - Obituary

ennis “Denny” Neilson Weiss, 74 of Crownsville, MD passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020. Dennis was born in Washington DC. to the late Edward and Lillian Weiss on March 27, 1946. He was a graduate of City College in Baltimore and the University of Maryland. Denny's career began in the Commercial Retail Industry and quickly expanded, holding positions with Dart Group, Silver, Companies, Pence Group, and Ratner Companies. He loved polishing his cars, boating on the Severn River, piloting his plane, and giving the biggest bear hugs to everyone he knew. His infectious smile greeted everyone he met. He loved his family and friends and often referred to them as his treasures of life. He shared his love of music with his family and most times would be listening to his favorite band The Beach Boys. Denny was preceded in death by his son, Brandt Edward Michael Weiss. He is survived by his wife, Linda Marie Weiss, daughter Brandi Alyce Weiss, (Brian Bliss) of Fairfax, VA, stepdaughters, Domenica Prieto McGrath, (Kevin) of Crownsville, MD and Tara Noel Conte, (Joseph) of Riva, MD, and sister Beverly Andrion (Henry) of Rehoboth Beach, DE. Grandchildren, Kevin, Morgan, Ella, Joseph, and Eleanor. In addition, Pamela Weiss, mother of Brandi and Brandt. Due to Covid restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
