Diane Carolyn Day - Obituary

n January 10, 2023. She is survived by her sister Donna Deters; nephew Scott Deters (Maria); great niece and nephew, Isabel and Luke Deters. Preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Patricia Day. After many illnesses through the years, she is now at peace. Retired from the Federal government after 34 years. She created and maintained a website to honor her father's military service on the USS SAVAGE DE 386. There will be no services held. Diane has requested her ashes become part of an artificial marine reef. In lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation in Diane's name to Providence/Fort Washington United Methodist Church, 10610 Old Fort Rd., Fort Washington, MD 20744.
