Diane Perrigo - Obituary

iane, known to most as “Mrs. Di” was an incredible friend and family member. She was thoughtful, caring, reliable and she put everyone before herself. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, Kylah and Gryffin Danna. Spending the last 26 years of her life working at Giant 194, she has made hundreds of friends through her co-workers and customers. Throughout the years she has opened her arms and home to dozens of people, helping whoever she could along the way. Following the death of her son, Timothy in 2018, Diane devoted herself to help others receive the treatment they needed. She was an incredible woman who selflessly gave herself to help others and never wanted anything in return. She will be incredibly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her sons, Daniel and Timothy, Diane was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Dimitriou. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Perrigo; two children, Lance Perrigo, and Christa Bacchus; two sibings, Don Dimitriou, and Michelle Spears; two grandchildren, Mitchell Hendry, and Cheray Perrigo; and two great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Diane's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, January 29 from 12 to 2 and 6 to 8 PM where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30 at 11 AM.
