ianna May Bolyard, lovingly known as “Di” and “Aunt Di”, 86, a resident of Annapolis, Maryland and previously of Berlin, Maryland passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on December 1, 1939 in Grafton, West Virginia to the late Charles Dana Bolyard and Virginia May Bolyard, Dianna graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1957 before attending the University of Maryland. She went on to establish her career with Weaver Brothers Mortgage and Loan, Arinc and received her Maryland Real Estate License. Dianna was a member of Lanham United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Jobs Daughters, as well as the Community Church at Ocean Pines. She was also a Queen member of the Red Hat Society, a member of the Women’s Club of Ocean Pines, and a member of the Breakfast Club. In her spare time, Dianna enjoyed needlepoint and playing Scrabble. She is survived by her sisters, Sara Josephine Overholser (Christopher) and Bonnie Jane Ricker (Gregory); her nephew, Robert Overholser; her nieces, Terry Overholser and Virginia Ann Buckus (Brian); as well as her great-nieces, Shay and Brynn. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Aunt Di’s life on Wednesday, April 1 from 10 am until her memorial service begins at 11 am at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in Di’s name to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741) or the American Diabetes Association (P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023).
