Dianna Kent - Obituary

ianna Kent passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. Born on February 7, 1944 at Providence Hospital in Washington DC, the beloved daughter of Metta Ray Nash and Charles Francis Marks. She married Clarence "Frank" Kent in 1966, and joined the department of Health and Human Services in 1990, becoming an Investigations Analyst, before retiring in 2010 to pursue her love of reading, gardening and old films. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 24 years, Clarence "Frank" Kent and her brother Charles "Ray" Marks. Dianna is survived by her son, Curtis, and her sister-in-law Mary, and will have a private burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Linus, a charity she provided for over the last decade, which provides handmade blankets to children in need. Please see link attached below.
