Donald Gene Call - Obituary

onald “Denny” Gene Call, 64, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. Born on June 26, 1954 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Ray and Betty Call. He served in the United States Army from 1971-1973. He was employed as a Parts Delivery Driver for Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Annapolis, MD. He enjoyed Duckpin Bowling, playing Horseshoes and Cards, singing Karaoke, and watching the Orioles play ball while relaxing in his recliner. His grandchildren were truly his pride and joy. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a Brother, David Ray Call. Donald is survived by his beloved Wife, Gale Call. Being at his side for more than 37 years. He is also survived by a Son, Donald (Lillian) Farr of Edgewater, MD; a Daughter, Shella (David) Cook of Lothian, MD; 8 Grandchildren. Relatives and Friends are invited to celebrate Donald’s Life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:15 am at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
