Donald Edward Davidson - Obituary

onald “Don” Davidson, 86, a 29-year resident of West River, MD passed away at his home on February 25, 2026. Don was born on May 11, 1939 in Washington, DC to the late Robert and Pauline Davidson. He worked as a shop supervisor for Local 100 Sheet Metal Union. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son, John Davidson, who passed in 1989. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Linda Davidson; his children, Stephanie (Mike) Broyles of Manassas, VA, Penny (Mickey) Shifflett of Alexandria, VA, Dianna Davidson of Red Lion, PA, Christine (Eddie) Howes of Churchton, MD, and Lisa Davidson of Dillsburg, PA; his siblings, Robert “Bob” (Charlotte) Davidson of Owings, MD, Patricia (Jim) Bazis of Aldan, PA, and Deborah McLean of Centerville, VA; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Don’s life on Saturday, March 21 at 2 pm at the South County Deale Moose Lodge (1401 Snug Harbor Rd, Shady Side, MD 20764).
