Donald Edward Dunlap - Obituary

onald Edward Dunlap, “aka Don, Donny, Stubs, and PopPop”, 58, a resident of Lothian, MD for 13 years and previously of Clinton, MD died on Wednesday, January 30th from natural causes. Born on March 17, 1960 in Grove City, PA to Richard C. and the late Anne (Monsma) Dunlap. Donny graduated from Friendly Senior High School in 1978. He was an Operations Manager with Charles E. Smith Management for 25 years and a Co-Owner of Absolute Contracting Services for the last 20 years. Donny was a member of Local 99 Union. One of the things that always made Donny laugh was his ability to fart on command at any given place or time. Some of Donny’s favorite things to do were going to his Grandson’s sporting events, attending Redskin Football games along with the tailgating parties, fishing, boating, skiing, watching TV with Oreo (the cat), and just being around friends and family crackin’ jokes. He is survived by his daughters; Jamie, Alexandra (Allie), and Kari (KK) Dunlap; his siblings; Nancy (Dan) Barnett, Russell (Tiffiany) Dunlap, and Stephen (Denise) Dunlap; and his grandsons; Jayden and Malachi. Friends are invited to celebrate Donny's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday, February 4 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 3 PM.
