Donald Paul Lambert - Obituary

onald Paul Lambert, 68 of Edgewater, MD passed peacefully on August 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital. Born September 3, 1955 in Washington DC at Bolling Air Force Base to Paul Leon Lambert and Barbara Lucille Lambert, he was known by many as Donnie and grew up in Annapolis, MD where he graduated high school and met the love of his life, Evie Rossann Lambert. After several years as an Annapolis City Police Officer, he joined his brother Ronald Lambert and owned American Glass Company Inc. Donnie enjoyed camping, traveling, music, and the outdoors. Most of all he loved his family and spending his free time with his five grandchildren. Donnie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evie R. Lambert of Edgewater; his mother Barbara L. Lambert of Annapolis; his brother Ronald S. Lambert of Arnold, MD; his daughter Shannan L. Staszak of Edgewater; his daughter Christine D. Tillinghast of Shady Side, MD and her spouse David S. Tillinghast; and his grandchildren Kelsey C. Hall, Mackenzie C. Hall, Sabrina R. Tillinghast, Nicholas P. Tillinghast, and Donald P. Staszak. He is proceeded in death by his father Paul L. Lambert. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10 AM at Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 38 W. Central Ave. Edgewater, MD 21037, with a luncheon immediately to follow in the fellowship hall. Burial will be private for immediate family only.
