Donald Edward McClary, Sr. - Obituary

onald “Eddie” Edward McClary, Sr., 82, a long-term resident of Baltimore, MD passed away on March 12, 2026 from natural causes relating to COPD and heart issues. Born on May 22, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Mildred Rasnick and William McClary, Eddie attended Anacostia High School before completing his GED after joining the Army, attending Central Texas College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he attended various military training schools. The military also gave him the opportunity to travel for over 20 years. Eddie retired from the Army as a Sergeant First Class. In his spare time, he enjoyed karaoke and playing pool. Eddie is survived by his children, Donald McClary of Longview, TX and Dixie Fay McKee of Diana, TX; his brother, John McClary of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Nicholas McKee of Diana, TX and Charlene McKee of Longview, TX; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
