Donald Powell - Obituary

n Tuesday, February 26, 2013; the beloved husband of the late Joan R. Powell; father of Wendy A. (Jim) Merry, Robert E. (Kelli) Powell and Jody S. (David) Pyburn; brother of George Powell, Mary Knight, Nancy A. Smith and the late Kenneth and Edward Powell; grandfather of Sydney and Erin Powell. Donnie was the owner of Powell's Automotive in Oxon Hill, MD for over 30 years. Relatives and friends are invited to Donnie's Life Celebration on Friday, March 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD where funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 11:15am. Interment Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611 or the Alzheimer's Association in Joan R.
