Donna Hermann - Obituary

onna Marie Hermann of Loch Haven, Edgewater died August 5, 2009, with her family at her side. Donna was born on September 3, 1949, in Washington, DC. She was a member of the first graduating class at Bowie Senior High School. She recently retired from her position as receptionist at Severn Savings Bank in Annapolis, where she was the face and voice of Severn for more than 21 years. She was a long-time resident of Loch Haven, where she and her husband of 20 years enjoyed sailing the Chesapeake. She is survived by her husband, David Hermann of Edgewater; daughters Karen Leavy of Odenton and Kelly Fox of Philadelphia, PA; parents George and Edna Talbert of Gambrills; sister Barbara Graham of Bowie; brother Christopher Talbert of Gambrills; and grandsons Brandon and Colin Leavy of Odenton. She was preceded in death by her sisters Linda Talbert and Patricia Graham and her brother James Talbert. Family and friends are invited to a viewing at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road,Edgewater, MD on Saturday, August 8 from 1:00-3:00 pm and a memorial service at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 9 with a reception to immediately follow.
