Doris Williams - Obituary

oris “Moodie” Marie Williams, 85, of Falmouth, MA and formerly of Crofton, MD died on August 7, 2011 of natural causes. Doris was born on September 8, 1925 in Washington, DC to the late Carrie Padgett and George H. Jones. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband, Edmund H. Williams on January 20, 1973. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Watts of Boston, MA and Theresa Cunningham and her husband, Donald of Edgewater, MD; two grandchildren, Kari Benoit of Crownsville, MD and Colleen Taggart of Crofton, MD; 4 great-grandchildren, Sydney and JD Taggart and Isabelle and Iris Benoit; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Doris’ Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 6 to 9pm.
