Dorothy Harris - Obituary

orothy "Dottie" Harris, 104, formerly of Mexico City, died peacefully September 9th at her home in Riva, MD. Born on November 22, 1907, in Jefferson City, MI, she was married to "Bucky" Harris for 46 years during which time they lived in Mexico and Brazil and traveled extensively in Latin America, Europe, the Far East and Africa. She is survived by her daughters, Micki Cruz of Mexico City and Betsey Dolard of Riva, MD, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 9:30am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, Maryland 21035. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Hospice of Chesapeake or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She will be missed.
