Dorothy Malone - Obituary

orothy Malone, age 90, a lifelong resident of Arlington, VA, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 of natural causes at Easton Memorial Hospital in Easton, MD. Born on February 1, 1920 in Arlington, Dorothy was a graduate of Washington-Lee High School. A homemaker for most of her life, she enjoyed boating, golf and her family. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Thomas K. Malone, Jr. who died on November 8, 2005. She is survived by a son, Ronald J. Malone of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Nancy M. Jabin of Annapolis, MD and Colleen, she is also survived by seven grandchildren. Friends are invited to Dorothy’s Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday, December 20 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 21 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Annapolis, MD. Interment will be held on Wednesday, December 22 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
