n Tuesday, June 2, 2015, of Fort Washington, MD, died peacefully at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Loving wife of the late John A. Van Winkle, Jr.; beloved mother of Jean E. (Michael) Basileo and the late John A. Van Winkle III; loving mother-in-law of Jo Ann Van Winkle and dear sister of Jeanne McWethy; loving grandmother of Drew Minardi, Dawn (Michael) Emes, Dean (Patty) Van Winkle, Brian (Shaquita) Basileo and the late Christopher and Karen Basileo; great-grandmother of Jared and Valerie Van Why, Abigail Emes and Savannah Basileo; aunt of Harold (Karen) Van Winkle and Raymond and Robert McWethy. Friends may call at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Wednesday, June 10 from 11am until services at 12 noon. Graveside services on Saturday, June 13 at 11:30am at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, New Jersey.
