waine "DK" Keith Duvall, 81, passed away at his home in Annapolis, MD on Thursday, July 21, 2022. DK was a loving and devoted husband, dad, and granddad. He is survived by his wife, Joan of 42 years and children Jennifer Bright (George Thomas) of Oakley, CA; Alyssa Krisko (Robert) of Davidsonville, MD; Julie F. Hebert of Chicopee, MA; Brian K. Duvall (Catherine) of Saugerties, NY; and Kristen L. Pratt (Aaron) of Smyrna, GA. In addition, he leaves behind six grandchildren: Alexandra E. Duvall, Scott R. Hebert, Madelyn M.B. Duvall, Ryan M. Pratt, Aidan A. Pratt, and George Thomas Bright III. DK was born March 1, 1941, in Kansas City, MO to the late Henry W. and Fern Van Buren Duvall. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Kansas and enjoyed a full and rewarding career with IBM in locations including New York; Tokyo, Japan; and North Carolina. He retired from IBM in 2006 as the Director of the Asia-Pacific IT Group. DK enjoyed travels internationally throughout Europe and East Asia during his career. Having retired in Maryland, DK focused on family, friends, and community. He treasured visits with his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time on the golf course, at game nights with friends and at the Delaware shore. He was active in his local community, serving on neighborhood associations and committees, and most importantly enjoying many friendships he made along the way. In addition to his parents, DK was preceded in death by his siblings Irene Nelson, Lillian Buffa, and William Duvall. Services and arrangements are private.
