Edgar Alexander McLean - Obituary

n August 24, 2016, Ed of Oxon Hill, MD died at home. Dear husband for 64 years of Anna McLean; father of Susan, Sandra (Jablonski), William, Frederick, and Mary Anne; grandfather of Alex and Emily McLean and Derek Jablonski. Ed is also survived by his sister, Julia Brossman. His sister Mary Smith, predeceased him. Ed served in the Navy in WWII then graduated with a B.S. from UNC Chapel Hill and an M.S. from U. of Delaware. Ed was a research physicist for 60 years at the Naval Research Laboratory. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. A memorial service for Ed’s family and friends will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oxon Hill United Methodist Church.
