Edith Donohoe - Obituary

dith Maureen Donohoe, 77, a resident of Edgewater for 20 years and previously of Washington, D.C., died of cardiac arrest Jan. 13 in her home. Mrs. Donohoe was born March 5, 1930, in Washington, D.C. A loving mother and homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, shopping, dining out with her children, flowers and plants and collecting frogs. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James A. "Hawk" Donohoe. Survivors include one son, James Michael Donohoe of Shallotte, N.C.; three daughters, Karen T. Donohoe and Deborah A. Owings of Edgewater and Kathleen C. Sheets of Dale City, Va.; and two grandchildren. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
