Edith Ann Handley - Obituary

dith Ann “Edie” Handley, 80, a 40-year resident of Bowie, MD, passed away on March 29, 2025, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Born on June 4, 1944, in Washington, D.C. to the late Kenneth and Margaret Gosweiler, Edie grew up in Suitland, MD, and graduated from Suitland High School. She worked as an administrative secretary for the C&P Telephone Company (now Verizon), retiring in 1997 following 35 years of service. Edie was an avid reader and had a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh, garden, and flowers. She is survived by her devoted son, Sean Michael Handley, and grandson, Sean Dylan Handley, both of Bowie, MD. Funeral services will be private.
