Edna Irene Blankenship - Obituary

n Friday, January 1, 2010; the beloved wife of Harold E. Blankenship, Sr.; mother of Stephanie (Ray) Oldland; stepmother of Florence (Shannon) Fulk and Harold (Shelly) Blankenship, Jr.; sister of Brenda Laing and Carol Godin and her sister "by choice" Shirley Beavers. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Renie's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P.KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Tuesday, January 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm where services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
