dnamae (Eddie) Snellings of Ft. Washington, MD, died Saturday, March 16, 2013. Born on October 2, 1944, to Charles and Edna Mae Edwards, Eddie is survived by her husband Scotty, her children David (Lisa), Kenny (Dee) and Jennifer, her grandchildren, Sabrina (Brian), Kenny, Jr., Jacob, Ashton, Joanna, and Simon, her brother Ray (Karen) and sister’s Pattie Jean (Henry) and Barbara (Keith). Relatives and friends are invited to Eddie's Life Celebration on Thursday, 21 March 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11am, at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Rd. Bowie, MD, Interment Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Johns Hopkins Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center for “Melanoma Research” or to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
