Edward Stepczyk - Obituary

dward Michael Stepczyk, age 90, a 43-year resident of Annapolis, MD, died on November 11, 2008 (Veteran's Day) at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born on October 17, 1918 in Chicopee, Mass. He graduated from Chicopee High School in 1936. During World War II he was a Captain in the US Army Counter Intelligence Corps. He served in China, Burma and India and he earned 4 Bronze Stars. For most of his life, he worked for the Federal Government with posts in Germany, Austria, Lebanon, Thailand and Chile. He is survived by his wife, Leokadya A. Stepczyk of Annapolis, MD, whom he married in 1944; one daughter, Marscha Allemand of Arnold, MD and a granddaughter, Jennifer Allemand of Glen Burnie, MD. Services and interment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements by the George P. Kalas Funeral Home of Edgewater, MD
