dward lee Weary Sr. (Aka Bear) It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Lee Weary announces his passing on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at the age of 49. Edward L. Weary was born in Washington D.C. on October 10, 1967, to Ann (Maddox) Weary and the late Moses Lee Weary. He was affectionately known as “Bear” and was loved by many during his time here on earth. Edward was raised in the DMV where he attended DC Public Schools. Edward AKA Bear was an amazing Father and a man with a heart of gold and was loved by everyone he met. He would give you the shirt off of his back but also talk trash to you while doing it. Over his lifetime he touched so many hearts, whether it was people, he met while he worked as a Security Guard and bouncer or people he met in the street. He loved God and would share that message with anyone he met. Bear was the life of the party, and he loved to laugh and make everybody laugh with him. He was a fan of weapons and had quite a collection of them. He enjoyed Martial Arts, Sports, Movies and spending time with family and friends. Edward Lee Weary Sr. was preceded in death by his father, Moses Lee Weary. In passing he leaves to mourn his mother Ann Weary and Step-mother Betty Weary, Beloved life partner Alecia, one daughter Andrea M. Hawkins, Two sons Edward L. Weary Jr. and George H.
