Eileen J. Albergo - Obituary

ileen Joan Albergo, 94, a resident of Annapolis, MD for sixty-three years, died on Tuesday, April 23 at her home. Born in Putnam, CT to the late Olin and Delia Hayes, Eileen was an accountant with the United States Naval Academy for most of her life. She was a member of various organizations including the Son’s of Italy, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and Beta Sigma Phi (Perceptor, Alpha, Zeta). In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Michael Vincent Albergo, who died in 2014 and her son, Bruce Albergo. Eileen is survived by her children, Mark, Chris and Karen Albergo. Friends are invited to celebrate Eileen’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD on Thursday, May 2 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 1:45 pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bello Machre, 7765 Freetown Rd., Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
