Eleanor Purdy - Obituary

n Saturday, May 17, 2008, beloved wife of the late Benjamin C. Purdy; mother of Carolyn Sturm and her husband Chris; Robert B. Purdy and his wife Mary; Lawrence B. Purdy and his wife Anne: Edward M. Purdy; Dianne V. Purdy and Loretta M. Bender and her husband Les. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great granchildren. Friends are invited to Eleanor's Life Celebration on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, Md. Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday May 22, 2008 at 11AM from St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church, 2400 Brooks Dr., Suitland, Md. Interment Cedar Hill cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, Md. 20401.
