leftheria “Ritsa” R. Patton, 83, a resident of Frederick, MD passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Ritsa was born on February 28, 1934 in Athens, Greece to the late Chrisostomos and Katina Christopoulos. Ritsa retired in 2001 as a Security Supervisor from Argenbright Security at Regan National Airport. She loved animals and gardening; movies, the ocean and spending time with her family. Ritsa is survived by her daughter, Sophia and her husband, John Papuchis; her siblings, Sofia Scott and Chrisostomos Christopoulos; her nephew, Larry Strother; her grandchildren, George, Alexzandra and Erica Papuchis, and her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Marie. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ritsa’s life on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 11:30 AM until her funeral service begins at 12 PM at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment will follow the service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
