Elena Pineda - Obituary

lena DeLeon Pineda, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the age of 78. She was born in the Philippines on October 27, 1936 to Apolonario DeLeon and Marcelina C. DeLeon. She is survived by her beloved husband Guillermo Pineda after 62 years of marriage. She is also survived by ten children, Wilfredo Pineda and wife Grace Pineda, Violeta Balajadia and husband Jose Balajadia, Willardo Pineda and wife Devina Pineda, Villa Pangilinan, Virginia Nelson and husband Clayton Nelson, Wilberto Pineda and wife Maggie Pineda, Victorina Garcia and husband Arnel Garcia, Veronica Pineda, Vilma Bautista and husband Mike Bautista, Walterito Pineda and wife Raquel Pineda. Elena also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday September 12, 2015 from 3-9 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home located at 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. She will be sent and buried in her hometown of the Philippines.
