Elenie Lucille Hylton - Obituary

lenie “Lanie” Lucille Hylton, 56, a life long resident of Annapolis, MD died at her home on March 2, 2009 of lung cancer after a 10 month illness. Born March 13, 1952 to George Bounelis and the late Lucille Bounelis in Annapolis, MD, she worked in the restaurant business in the Annapolis area; starting at her father's restaurant, Capital Restaurant. She was a member of Ladies of the Moose #661. Her hobbies included women's softball, golf, bowling, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Lanie was also an avid Orioles fan. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry Hylton; devoted mother of John Brown of Annapolis, MD; sister of Nick Bounelis of Philadelphia, PA, Cindy Culp of Annapolis, MD, Mike Bounelis of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Paul Bounelis of Annapolis, MD; also survived by her two grandchildren, Hannah and Abby Brown. Friends are invited to Lanie's Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 4 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where services will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 1:30pm. Inurnment Private.
