Elin Dolan - Obituary

lin J. Dolan, 69, a 15-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Crofton, MD died on June 10, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. Born June 21, 1939 in Summit, NJ, she graduated from Trenton State College with a degree in Education. She was employed as the Director of Weems Creek Nursery School and Kindergarten for 27 years. Mrs. Dolan was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD. Elin enjoyed square dancing and loved going to the ocean and beach, especially Hilton Head, SC. She was the beloved wife of George E. Dolan, whom she May 21, 1981; devoted mother of Craig Welsh of Medina, OH and Lisa Welsh of Edgewood, MD; stepmother of David Dolan of New York, NY, Tom Dolan of Denville, NJ and Catherine Dolan of CT; sister of Joseph Bolash of Shelburne, NH; also survived by 4 grandchildren. Friends are invited to Elin's Life Celebration on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 3pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd, Annapolis, MD. Interment private.
