Elizabeth Bourdas - Obituary

lizabeth “Ellie” Bourdas, 85, a 20-year resident of Annapolis, MD passed away on September 22, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Hospital after suffering a stroke. Born on May 3, 1939 in Greece, Elizabeth graduated high school and went on to become a homemaker. She was a member of Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis, and enjoyed needlepoint, crochet, and cooking. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dimitrios Bourdas; her son, Anthony Bourdas of Annapolis; her daughter, Evdoxia Chiras of Annapolis and her grandchildren, Dimitrios Bourdas, Antonios Bourdas, and Georgia Chiras. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Elizabeth’s life on Tuesday, September 26 from 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27 at 11 am at Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd, Annapolis, MD.
