Elizabeth J. Earisman - Obituary

lizabeth J. “Betty” Earisman, 89, a resident of Annapolis, MD for 35 years, died on February 10, 2022 in Crofton. Betty was born on January 2, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Bartram High School. She spent the majority of her working career as an office manager in a physician’s office. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed gardening, playing card games, crabbing, pets (dogs in particular), ceramics, camping (with yearly trips to Myrtle Beach, SC and Florida), and spending time with her grandson. Betty is survived by her children, Michael Earisman of Chester, MD, Jill Hayden of Bowie, MD and Jayne (Joel) Gorski of Moorpark, CA; and her grandson, Justen Gorski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earisman, who died in 2011, and her sister, Marie Ann Eby. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Wednesday, February 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, followed by Betty’s funeral service at 11:30, at Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty’s name may be made to Spring Arbor of Crofton, 1495 Riedel Road, Crofton, MD 21114.
