lizabeth Ann Line, “Liz”, 51, of Lothian, died peacefully August 16 at her home due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
She was born Elizabeth Ann Walters in 1959, at Baltimore City Hospital, the daughter of Robert Francis Walters Jr. She was raised by her grandparents, Robert Francis Walters Sr. and Ethel Walters of Perry Hall. She graduated from Perry Hall Senior High School in 1977. She attended nursing school in Baltimore and received medical assistant certifications from Anne Arundel Community College. She worked for two podiatrists in Baltimore before moving with her family to West River in 1987. She worked at Owensville Primary Care in West River as a medical assistant for several years until she could no longer work due to complications from the slowly progressive MS.
In 1984, she married her high school sweetheart, David Line, of Cub Hill, and they made their home with her Grandfather in Perry Hall until 1987 before moving to West River. In 2007 they moved to Lothian.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David Line, her three children, Melissa Line of Lothian, Jeremy Line and Lindsey Line of West River, her Granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Sandvik of West River, her brother, Rob Walters of Baltimore, her cousin, Bonnie Beasley of Manchester, several other cousins, aunts and uncles, and devoted friends Denise Stafford and Vanessa Greenwell, both of West River.
Friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 18 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19. Interment private.
