Elleanore Riordan - Obituary

lleanore O. Riordan, 89, of Las Vegas, NV, Alexandria, VA and Port Charlotte, FL, passed away April 10, 2014 at her home in Las Vegas, surrounded by pictures and mementos she cherished. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to the late Wilfred and Elleanore Snowden. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Riordan, her son, Richard Butterfield, brothers, Pat and Buddy Snowden and sister, Alice Mayhew. She is survived and loved by her son, Alan Butterfield and daughter-in-law, Linda Butterfield, sister Jackie Adams, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-granchilden, 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Las Vegas and the Lions Club of Florida. She and "Bobby" owned and operated the Calvert Restaurant on Lee Hwy. in Alexandria, Va for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and traveled throughout the world. Friends may call at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD on Wednesday, April 23rd from 10am until service time at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
