Ellen Louise Grimm - Obituary

llen Louise (Andracsek) Grimm passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at her residence in Mechanicville, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Grimm and her, daughter Carollyn Grimm. Ellen leaves behind two daughters, Polly (James) Fullerton and Billie Watson; two foster sons, Ed (Alberta) Ring and John (Stephanie) Ring; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her surviving brother, Thomas (Nancy) Andracsek. Ellen was a 54 year, two time breast cancer survivor, of which she was so very proud. She enjoyed being involved with her class reunion committee and classmates, working in her yard and sitting in her rocking chair on her front porch. She was a friend to everyone and a great mom to all of her kids and to all of "her" Chandler Dr kids. She was pretty darn great! A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the start of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 2401 Brinkley Rd., Fort Washington, MD on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland MD.
