Ellen Johnson - Obituary

llen Dorene Johnson, 81, a 40-year resident of Annapolis, MD died at home on January 4, 2010 of natural causes after a lengthy illness. Born June 5, 1928 in Central City, NE, she was a homemaker most of her life. Dorene enjoyed needlework, crocheting, gardening and was a longstanding member at the Annapolis Roads Garden Club. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul C. Johnson, whom she married on October 15, 1948 and who died on May 5, 1985; mother of Susan E. Rush of Annapolis, MD, Steven T. Johnson of Inverness, FL and the late David D. and Thomas M. Johnson; sister of Jim Gray of Arizona; also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Arrangements and interment private.
