Ellsworth Harris - Obituary

n Saturday, August 1, 2009; the beloved husband of 66 years of Mary Harris; father of Kenneth Harris, Marian(Oscar)Gray and the late Ellsworth, Jr. and Carl Harris; grandfather of Christina Green, Christopher Gray, David, Kenneth, Jr. and Carl Harris, Jr. He is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Harris' Life Celebration on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM at Tenth Street Baptist Church, 1000 R St., NW, Washington, DC. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or Metropolitan Baptist Church.
