lmer Warren Aisquith “Skunky”, age 90, a lifetime resident of Riva died on Tuesday September 3 at his residence after a two year battle with leukemia. Born on January 11, 1923 in Riva, Elmer was a farmer and also owned an operated Elmer Aisquith Bus, Inc., an Anne Arundel County school bus contractor. He was a member of Annapolis Elks Lodge 622 and Annapolis Moose Lodge 296 and in his spare time enjoyed golf, horse racing and being with his family and friends. Elmer was preceded in death by his son, Elmer W. “Pete” Aisquith. He is survived by his wife, AnnaMae Aisquith of Riva; a son, Gary L. Aisquith of Riva; a daughter, Joanne A. Schneck of Riva; a brother, John H. Aisquith; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Aisquith of Edgewater; two grandchildren, Scott A. Schneck of Riva and Jennifer Ann Aisquith of Edgewater and two great-grandchildren, Blake and Lance Aisquith. Friends are invited to Elmer’s Life Celebration from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, September 5 and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Friday, September 6 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Saturday, September 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville.
